The Dusky Maidens

A new Pacific women’s creative collective called the Dusky Maidens gathered at Victoria University recently to celebrate the achievements of literary pioneer Albert Wendt. FitzBeck Creative helped sponsor the event which also showcased the talents of Karlo Mila, Richard Langston and Dr Alice Te Punga Somerville. A highlight of the night was hearing excerpts from Albert’s new novel, which is written entirely in verse!
